I started working for a small startup company as a social media manager. My duties included managing the company’s social media platforms, generating content, and interacting with followers. Although the job was challenging, it was also gratifying, and I appreciated the creative element of it. I learned valuable skills on how to create compelling content that resonated with our target audience, and I became proficient in using social media analytics to evaluate the success of our campaigns.

As time went by, I came to realize that social media was only a part of digital marketing, and I became increasingly interested in learning about search engine optimization (SEO). I took to reading books and attending webinars to better understand SEO’s potential in driving traffic to our website, and I applied my newfound knowledge to my social media campaigns.

What I discovered was the close correlation between SEO and social media. Crafting high-quality content that is shareable on social media is critical to succeeding in SEO. Similarly, creating search engine optimized content is fundamental to achieving success in social media. By utilizing the principles of SEO to enhance my social media campaigns, I was able to expand our reach and engagement.
